MOESIA INFERIOR. Marcianopolis. Diadumenian, as Caesar, 217-218. Triassarion (Bronze, 26 mm, 10.60 g, 12 h). Μ ΟΠΕΛΛΙΟΝ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟΣ Κ Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Diadumenian to right. Rev. ΜΑΡΚΙΑΝΟΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ Artemis hurrying right, drawing arrow from quiver with her right hand and holding bow i nher left; at feet, hunting dog running right; in field to left, Γ (mark of value). AMNG I, 1, 786. Varbanov 1313. Beautiful turquoise patina. Light pitting on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
